Community Hours

At Float Well, we want to provide as many people as possible with the chance to float with us. We genuinely believe in the benefits that floatation therapy can provide and want to ensure that cost is not a barrier. Community is one of our core principles and a huge inspiration for doing what we do. Our Community Hours Programme has been created to support and give back to people who do good in Wellington with an opportunity to get in and float at a special reduced rate.

If you are a:
•    Teacher
•    Nurse, doctor or other health care professional
•    First responder
•    Veteran or active military service
•    Gold Card holder
•    Community Service Card holder
•    Person with a disability, or
•    Person with a chronic condition or illness (including mental health)

Then come float with us every Wednesday at 10am, 11am, 12pm & 1pm for only $55, which is over 40% off our regular price. This is just one way we are giving back to the Wellington community – come discover profound relaxation at Float Well!

How do I book in?

Booking in is super easy. You can make an appointment online by clicking the button above, give us a call on 04 470 7729 or send us an email at info@floatwell.co.nz. Be sure to mention Community Hours upon booking to ensure you receive this special rate.

Please note that if you book your appointment online, you will be prompted to put in your credit card details. Your card is not charged, so long as you attend your appointment – please see our cancellation policy below.

What if I need to cancel/reschedule?

Since times are very limited, we ask that you do your best to commit to your appointment time and let us know if you can’t make it in so we can offer it up to someone else who needs it.

Our normal cancellation policy applies to our Community Hour bookings. We require at least 24 hours’ notice if rescheduling or cancelling your appointment, otherwise a $20 cancellation fee applies. Less than 4 hours’ notice or no shows will incur the full cost of your float if you we are unable to fill the space.

Do I need to show proof that I fall into one of these categories?

While we tend to err on the side of the honour system, there may be times when we will may ask for your industry ID for proof of eligibility. We love getting to know our floaters, so if you come in for a Community Hours float and would like to share your story, please do! If not, it’s all good – just be sure to mention Community Hours when you are paying for your float to receive the discounted rate.

What if I already have credit for a regular price float, Intro-3 or Membership?

You have a few options to choose from:
•    Book in during our dedicated Community Hours times and use your prepaid float credit
•    Pay the Community Hours rate and save your credit for next time
•    Schedule your float during another time or day of the week and offer the Community Hours timeslot to someone wishing to get in during those times
