Wasn't sure I would enjoy this gift to me but it was right up there in the "Glad I did it" basket. If I lived nearer I would definitely do it again. I absolutely see the attraction of this therapy. So friendly too. No need to take swimming costumes, towels or anything - it's all provided for you.

This is the most common question from first-time floaters, but there is nothing to fear: you are always in control of your environment (the lid, the music & the lights). Most people with this worry report having no problems with their time in the tank.
You also can leave the float tank lid partially or fully open; however, doing so may result in your body feeling a bit cool while you float as a closed lid helps regulate the temperature of the water and air.
Prenatal
Pregnant women love to float and it is safe to do so between 13 & 37 weeks. Floating can relieve a lot of the aches and pains caused by pregnancy and give you an amazing connection with your bubba. We do, however, recommend you consult with your midwife or GP if you have any concerns.
Postpartum
No one deserves to relax more than mamas in their 4th trimester and beyond. You can definitely enjoy a float if you are breastfeeding; however, we recommend breastfeeding or expressing as close to your appointment time as you can.
If you are recently postpartum, we suggest floating after any tears, incisions or other open wounds are completely healed. Otherwise you might find the salt water quite uncomfortable. The timeframe for this will be very dependent on the individual.
Please make sure your colour stops bleeding out in your shower at home and does not come off on your towels before floating. Typically, this takes about 2 weeks; however, some hair colour takes longer to finish bleeding and we cannot allow you to float if this is the case. You may not be able to float if you use henna to dye your hair. Please contact us with any questions about your hair colour.
All of our sessions include 60 minutes in the float tank, as it can take your brain and central nervous system a bit of time to adjust to the environment and truly relax. Anything less than that doesn’t allow you to experience the full benefits.
You can Add 30 Minutes to your float for an additional $20 or if you’re a Float Member you can choose a 60-90 minute float for free. Keen to float for even longer? Get in touch with us to find out how you can float for up to 3 hours!
Between each float session, all the water inside the pod passes through a medical grade 10 micron filter 4-6 times and the Epsom salts in the water act as a natural disinfectant, inhibiting the growth of bacteria. In addition, we use a combination of UV and H2O2 to ensure the water is fully treated between each float. We also require you to shower before getting into the tank to maintain the highest sanitation standards.
Third Eye Room houses our original Dreampod V2 float pod, which measures 2.25m long by 1.45m wide. The average person will have plenty of space to stretch out during their float.
Solar Room and Heart Room contain our Dreampod V-Max double float tanks, whose dimensions are 2.34m long and 1.62m wide. They are better equipped to accommodate taller folks and are host to our Double Float sessions, as they can comfortably fit two people.
Your session includes alternating between our private infrared sauna and cold plunge pool. We recommend spending 10-15 minutes in the sauna, followed by 1-3 minutes in the cold plunge, and repeating the cycle 2-3 times.
Infrared saunas heat the surrounding air but to a lesser degree than a traditional sauna. Instead, they use infrared heaters to emit a specific wavelength of infrared light. Your skin absorbs this wavelength, causing your body’s temperature to rise. This elicits the same effects as a traditional sauna with less overall heat needed.
Regular cold therapy is believed to avail users to a myriad of health benefits including reduced inflammation throughout the body as well as effective expedition of the muscle recovery process. It doesn’t end there because exposure to cold water will cause blood vessels to constrict and then dilate when you climb out of the cold plunge pool, a process that culminates in metabolic waste and stagnant fluids being flushed out of your body, leaving you feeling fresh and revitalised.
Contrast therapy—alternating between heat and cold—offers a range of benefits for both body and mind. Some key benefits include:
✅ Enhanced circulation: The shift between heat and cold stimulates blood flow, supporting cardiovascular health. ✅ Muscle recovery & pain relief: Cold reduces inflammation while heat relaxes muscles, making it popular for post-workout recovery. ✅ Immune system boost: Regular exposure to heat and cold can help strengthen the immune response. ✅ Mental clarity & stress relief: The temperature contrast activates the nervous system, promoting resilience and reducing stress. ✅ Better sleep: Many people report improved sleep quality after sessions due to the deep relaxation effect.
Whether you're an athlete looking to recover faster or simply seeking a reset for your body, contrast therapy is a powerful tool for overall well-being.
Our infrared sauna heats up to a maximum temperature of 70°C, providing deep, soothing warmth to help relax muscles and promote circulation.
Our ice bath is set between 7-8°C, offering an invigorating cold plunge to support recovery and resilience. If you’d like a different temperature for the ice bath, we can adjust it upon advanced request.
We offer 30-minute and 60-minute Contrast Therapy sessions, giving you flexibility in how you structure your time.
For sauna sessions, we recommend 10–15 minutes per round, with the option to do multiple rounds depending on your session length. A 30-minute session allows for one to two rounds, while a 60-minute session gives you time for more cycles and extended relaxation. Always listen to your body and hydrate as needed.
For ice baths, most people stay in for 1–3 minutes per round, though experienced users may go up to 5 minutes. If you're new to cold exposure, start with shorter durations and gradually increase over time.
A common contrast therapy cycle is: 🔥 10–15 minutes in the sauna → ❄️ 1–3 minutes in the ice bath → 🔁 Repeat 2–3 times
You can adjust the timing based on your comfort level, goals, and session length.
For the best experience, we recommend wearing a bathing suit. The infrared sauna works by heating your body directly rather than just the air around you, so having more skin exposed allows for better heat absorption and deeper benefits.
Without the barrier of clothing, the powerful wavelengths can penetrate the skin more effectively, allowing for a deeper and more targeted treatment. This direct contact with the skin ensures that the light is not scattered or absorbed by the fabric, maximizing its absorption by the body's tissues.
The contrast therapy room is completely private, so you can feel comfortable throughout your session.
We provide two towels—one to sit on in the sauna and another for your shower afterward. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to bring your own towels or a light cover-up.
Yes! You can enjoy both Float Therapy and Contrast Therapy in a single visit for the ultimate recovery and relaxation experience. These sessions can be done in either order—some prefer starting with the sauna and ice bath to stimulate circulation before floating, while others like to float first for deep relaxation before finishing with contrast therapy.
